About Us

Southeast Alaska Is Paradise

The first time we visited Southeast Alaska we absolutely fell in love with its majestical beauty. Southeast Alaska is paradise on earth.

Alaska has always consumed our thoughts and we can never wait to get back there fishing. We’ve spent over 18 years fishing the Cross Sound, Lisianski Inlet, Cape Spencer, the open ocean and the calm seas of the inside passage.

We’ve always fished Self-Guided and have learned the area to have very successful trips. This body of water is rich with several species. The most sought-after species are Halibut, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Lingcod, Black Cod (Sablefish), Pacific Cod and Rockfish.

Although we can’t guarantee that you will catch a 100lb Halibut, you are definitely fishing in the waters where they are known to be, when you fish with us at The Wild Alaskan Lodge. Our largest Halibut to date was  weighing in at 255lbs and caught by the owner and operator Jason.  He still lights up and smiles thinking about that fish.

Over the last few years, our family and friends have encouraged us to start our own Self-Guided Lodge. In 2022, We found a beautiful piece of property outside of Pelican, Alaska and we started building our dream “The Wild Alaskan Lodge” a Self-Guided Fishing Lodge in SE Alaska in 2023. We are excited to be open and operating for the 2024 fishing season.

Ready for 2024 Fishing Season

The property will be ready for operations at the beginning of the 2024 Fishing Season.

Our team is eager to provide you with the ultimate fishing adventure and we will work extremely hard for you every day to make sure that you have a wonderful experience.

We can’t wait to see you in Alaska.
